Friday Night Blog
Here is an adorable and VERY EASY Kimono Card I made for my secret sister. She doesnt know who her secret sister is but if she put the clues together she could figure it out :-) What stinks is I put a button on it and it doubled the cost of postage!
Here is what I came up with. See what I mean... each one I think is better then the last one. I really enjoyed making it. The card base was no problem. I just had problems with the embellishments. It took a while to get it just right. I think I did. I also made a japanese girl to tuck in the card to use as a book mark if wanted too.

Hope this inspires you like it did me.

Not so much the yellow ink
Greetings,
I dont have any paper creations to speak of. I do want to mention it was not so much the lack of yellow ink that was my printers problems. Yes It was out of yellow ink but the print head went bad. I have to give Kudos to Kodak. I went online to their website and troubleshooted my problem. The information I submitted suggested I replace the print head. So I ordered one. No charge to me. No shipping charge to me either. I came in about four days. I put it in and it did its test and cleaning and it is pretty good now. I still have my animal card to finish. I decided to go another route which involves penguins. I might toss in a few of the peacock cards. I went to the Cincinnati Zoo this week and they had tons of peacocks all over the place and I got some wonderful pictures of them with their feathers all spread out. It was pretty neat!

PS check out my Yarn buddies and the cat burgular post in everything yarn!
PSS I deleted Dear John. I thought that blog might get me into trouble LOL!
Here is the animal card I ended up making. I must scan the instructions on folding the penguin.

Friday Night Blog
Greetings,
I am back with another you tube fine! This card I made for the swap I was participated in the card group I am in on yahoo. It is a very easy card to make and the possibilities are endless. My version of the card can be seen in my card slide show. I made a matching envelope for it.
I hope you enjoy this tutorial as much as I did in making it.
Here is the link to make the sunflowers. The show was more helpful but there is no you tube video of it.

Here is my version of the card I made. It was for the first swap I had joined. The theme was sunflowers.

Hope this inspires you like it has me!

Friday Night Blog
Greetings folks.
I belong to a wonderful group on yahoo that is dedicated to card making. The group offers help when asked, there is a monthly swap and sometimes a fun swap hosted by a member. All our creations can be posted and admired by the group. If you are interested in belonging to this wonderful group, go to www.yahoo.com and search for makinggreetingcards. If you want to join a swap you will also have to join another group. Dont worry all the activity is done on the main group. The second group is for security and storage reasons only.
Anyway one of the swaps theme is pockets. I will be attempting to make this card.
Hope this inspires you like it has me
Every card I make I say is my favorite one. I really really hated to send this one off to my swap partner. It has my favorite colors black, white and blue. It was really easy to make too.
